Alisa and Christina have a heart to serve God and to fulfill the purpose He has designed for them. Neither of them is perfect, yet they know that God doesn't require perfection -- He requires obedience.
Alisa's passion is to see women grow in their relationship with Christ. She loves sharing what the Holy Spirit is currently teaching her. Her desired teaching medium is writing; though, God also calls her to teach in small group settings. She founded and is chief editor of the Granola Bar Devotional. She also contributes her writings to other writing ministries, including Take Root and Write, Internet Cafe and Exemplify Online and Magazine. She is the One on One with God Coordinator for the JANES Women's Ministry. And she enjoys teaching Bible studies and discipleship curriculum. She is excited about producing Sanctified Together Email & Online Publication, in which she hopes to showcase other Christian women's work. Alisa has a Master's of Arts Degree in English - Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English. She has taught English to every age group. Alisa and her husband are hometeam leaders at their church. They love raising their three children - two boys and a girl.
Christina's passion is to encourage women struggling with life difficulties. She loves using her experience and knowledge to come along side women and point them to Jesus Christ. She has a Master's of Science Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Social Work. She has earned her clinical license and has worked in many areas, including drug addiction, homelessness, suicide, death & dying, marital problems, chronic pain, child maltreatment, sexual/physical abuse, mental/physical impairment, child behavioral problems, anxiety and depression. She has used her expertise to train interns, facilitate learning groups and speak professionally on topics that encourage, motivate and equip others to overcome life struggles. She created and implemented an on-line Bible study, Web Bible Babes, and co-founded a successful outreach ministry, Grunt Girls. Currently, Christina is a stay-at-home mom and is a MOPS small group leader. She also volunteers as the Blog Master of the JANES Women's Ministry, Granola Bar Devotional, Faith Imagined and Sanctified Together. Christina is also Alisa's Literary Manager and helps with social networking, web design, book research and the marketing of Alisa's writings. Christina and her husband enjoy raising their son and daughter together.
Alisa and Christina are both excited about this new opportunity to share God's love. They are honored that God would choose two crazy, imperfect girls like them to be a light to a dark world. Their prayer is that the Sanctified Together Resource becomes a place where Christian women can find refuge from a world that seeks to conform them. They desire that Christ-followers will join together in being set apart and sanctified for God's glory!
